Here are some case studies
of completed projects
we are proud to shout about.
Building a Flawless website
We were delighted to be approached by Sanchia Chippindale (proprietor of Flawless makeovers and photography studios – Manchester), to look at developing and strengthening the Flawless web presence.

Having already spoken to a web development company in Manchester she considered she knew what was needed, however after sitting down and discussing the Flawless business thoroughly and the way it was moving we soon realised that what was being suggested was neither what was wanted or indeed needed. One issue was that ‘Flawless’ were also moving into the field of corporate event management, having made contacts with a specialist in this field through their commercial and event photography, hence the website had two companies to promote. We pointed out that that could pose certain problems as one side of the business targeted the general public and the other was very much business to business. It was then agreed that we would look (in time) at building two websites, one for the studios and another for the events. To this end we also looked at updating the Flawless logo, to make it more contemporary and a little less feminine, thus giving a clear corporate identity – building the Flawless brand.

The original timescale being worked to was six weeks and whilst this would have been achievable it ended up taking twice as long for a multitude of reasons, including a fire that came within feet of destroying the Flawless Studio. We do however feel that the time taken has resulted in something that, through discussion and thought, has evolved and exceeded all expectations and that most importantly of all does the job it’s there to do.
The other good news being that the end product came in, as ever, bang on budget and has cost less than half what was originally quoted by the Manchester agency – despite the fact that their quote didn’t budget for logo/branding work or include eCommerce on the site.
We can easily complete and post a website within a week, some companies will even make the boast that it can be done in an afternoon, but this is only possible if you know exactly what you want, have all your images perfect, your copy spot on etc. Sanchia thought she knew exactly what she wanted when we first spoke, though through discussion realised this wasn’t actually what she needed. The end result (which we would stress was client driven) is a far cry from the original client brief, as a result of greater client understanding of the web and the design options we presented.

Sanchia and Flawless continue going from strength and have recently opened their second studio in Middlesbrough – their website has naturally been updated by ourselves to reflect this.
