Supporting others and the enviroment
Even in these difficult trading times we strongly believe that all businesses should do their bit to support others and good causes in their communities.
To this end we give of our time and discount our rates when working with charitable organisations and Social Enterprises, which has in recent years given us a great deal of personal and professional satisfaction as well as a much clearer understanding of the Third Sector.
Examples of this work are:
• Freeing up Jonathan to work one day a week with artsmix* - a social enterprise looking at developing and supporting emerging artists.
• Working on projects as part of Bradford Visions ‘Be Involved’ initiative
• Chairing the Bradford Grid Network Lunches and developing networking opportunities and contacts for their new start businesses
• Working with the Leeds Teaching Hospitals Charitable Foundation
• Active involvement with the undergraduate YOMP programme – developing the entrepreneurial skills of university students in the Yorkshire area
• Involvement with Bradford School’s teachers as part of the ‘Bradford Critical Skills’ staff training initiative
• Giving guest lectures in schools, colleges and universities
• Working towards reducing our carbon footprint by minimising waste and recycling – aided considerably by our move out of Central Leeds into Baildon.
We always strive to provide clients with what they actually need to achieve goals in the most cost effective and environmentally friendly way. Maximum impact – minimum waste!
